Surprising image quality, I think. I did no post processing whatsoever, I just exported them as JPEG files and uploaded them to the blog.

In the D300 (and perhaps others), third-party lenses such as Sigma, Tamron, and Tokina will only recognize one lens for the AutoFocus Fine-Tune adjustments. I am so bummed.

Another notch! The improvements over the 1.x line are amazing.
What amazing colors! But, that’s just the beginning.

I’m still just messing around with it, but my impulse shots seem to be turning out OK so far. Dealing with such a shallow depth of field is a bit strange, but the lens seems to do most of the magic for me.
