The Harris Hawk. I used HDR to bring out color and detail in his wings. It’s a bit unrealistic, but I love the way the colors that came out.

A barn owl.
The same owl, with some HDR treatment for detail and color.
A burrowing owl. He just finished flapping his wings (to stretch or perhaps cool himself off) and a nearby twig caught his wing feathers. He is not injured.

I love the way Moose Peterson posts gallery-style images on his blog. The images are captivating, the colors are incredible, but the images are too small to care about copying for your own purposes. I’m going to give that a shot and see how it goes. Feedback would be great.
